New Mackrosoft (2007)
Crossfaded excerpts of my sax work on Goonie Birds , from the new Aja West release "The Olympian."
Mackrosoft (since birth) : 
I met Paul and Alex Cheever in Boy Scouts. When high school ended, they built a studio in their parents' basement, and thus began a decade-long saga of dirty nasty funk and innocence lost. I've played sax on their recordings as often as possible, and their latest masterpiece has been rewarded with the only true mark of social relevance - a spot on The Real World. Here I present my favorite excerpts (all saxophone unless noted):
- Hidden Valley - Hammand B3 organ, 1958, belonged to my grandparents
- Push - Nice filter sweep, Paul
- The Secret Agenda - I'm on keys, inspired by the Gorillaz
- Funk Flow - Super funky collaboration between Alex Cheever and me. I'm all over the keys, he chopped it up.

- The Game (1) - Fela-esque rhythms under my sax solo
- The Game (2) - A cool horn line
- Shoot The Glass
- Flash - Slow, drugged-out lounge funk and some psychedelic Arabian horn lines
- Holdup - Recorded in the jungles of L.A., I wonder if you'll recognize the hip-hop song I stole this line from
- Life Imitates Clouds - Funky growling solo
- Trouble Woman - I am doubling Pee Wee Ellis from the JB band here!

- Cherry Blossom Children - This includes a part of my infamous rendition of the Aria from the Goldberg Variations played on an ancient analog keyboard called the Yamaha CS-50....hilarious.
- Immortality Project - I'm on bass. This is my favorite funk bass line ever. I call it "Riding The Seven-Hump Wump".
